Chembong and Pedas give Rembau two distinct industrial locations to investigate, particularly for food-related manufacturing. They should not be treated as alternative names for one estate. Company and official-directory addresses identify Kawasan Perindustrian Chembong separately from Kawasan MIEL Pedas Halal Park.
For a business considering premises, the established companies help explain local activity. They do not establish that every nearby lot supports the same process, that space is available or that certification automatically extends to another operator.
Chembong: Nestlé's documented facilities
Nestlé's current Malaysian factory directory lists its Chembong Factory at Lot 691, Jalan Perusahaan Utama, Kawasan Perindustrian Chembong, 71300 Rembau. It separately lists the Chembong Ice Cream Factory at Lot 20075, Jalan Perusahaan 4 in the same industrial area. These are two facilities associated with one corporate operator, rather than evidence of two unrelated tenants. Nestlé factory directory.
The company's March 2024 announcement about a biomass boiler also describes the operating Chembong complex and its MILO production. This supports food and beverage manufacturing as an evidenced part of the area's industrial profile. It does not verify the activities of surrounding suppliers or establish the utility arrangements of neighbouring properties. Nestlé's Chembong update.

Pedas: identify the manufacturer behind the product
The official JAKIM directory lists Kerabat Processing House (Pedas) Sdn. Bhd. at Lot PT No. 1769, Kawasan MIEL Pedas Halal Park, 71400 Rembau. Its product entries include deboned and marinated chicken. This provides a documented food-processing example at a specific park address. JAKIM's Kerabat record.
Some product entries carry restaurant brands. Those names should not be counted as separate factories or tenants in Pedas. The company named in the record is Kerabat Processing House; a brand associated with a product is a different kind of information.
JAKIM also lists Double Snack & Frozen Food Industry Sdn. Bhd. at lots PT 4518 and 4519 in the park. That establishes a public directory listing at the address. Specific product claims and certification scope should be checked in the relevant current records rather than inferred from the company name. JAKIM's Double Snack record.

Keep future projects separate
Chembong has also featured in announcements about NexV Manufacturing's new-energy-vehicle assembly project. The sources reviewed describe construction and targeted opening or production dates; they do not establish actual commissioning by this guide's 21 October 2026 cutoff. It is therefore excluded from the confirmed operating examples above. MIDA's NexV project report.

Questions for a food-business shortlist
Investigate process-water needs, wastewater treatment, hygiene zoning, pest control, temperature-controlled storage and delivery arrangements at the specific premises. Check certification against the product, process and site concerned. An address inside a halal-named park is not a substitute for that verification.
For comparison with a larger documented food-and-pharmaceutical cluster, read the techpark@enstek guide. Within Rembau, keep Chembong and Pedas as separate shortlist entries and record the full estate address. This article is a selective overview, not an exhaustive operator list, certification guarantee or current vacancy schedule.
